Kingdom Cares International

I hope everyone is doing well and just wanted to send out a quick email updating everyone on our recent trip to Ghana, Africa and the progress God is allowing us to make in our desire to build a school along with a basketball academy in Ghana, Africa.  During our recent trip (December 29th – January 6th) we left the United States with the desire to accomplish four goals:

1. Establish the first Kingdom Cares Basketball Team in Ghana, Africa.

         

2. Establish Kingdom Cares Africa as an official NGO in Ghana, Africa.

3. Purchase of 6 plots of the land in the Takoradi area of Ghana, Africa.
         




4. Begin the final steps of the adoption of 6 year old Samuel.

         

As we returned from Ghana, Africa on January 6th God had started to align all the right people to have these goals completed.  On January 3rd, 2010 the first Kingdom Cares Africa team was assembled.  On Wednesday, January 13th, 2010 Kingdom Cares Africa received the official documents that they have been approved to operate as an NGO in Ghana, Africa.  Tomorrow Friday, January 15th, 2010 the purchase of the 6 plots of land will be finalized after a donation was made to the Kingdom Cares International from Earl and Liz Williams to allow for the purchase of the land.  Last, the final court hearing for Samuel will take place on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 and we hope to have Samuel with us in the United States by early March. 

 

It has been fun to be a part of the things God has called us to do in Ghana, Africa and we look forward to the continued Journey he has us on.  Please continue to pray that we will remain obedient in all God wants to do with us in Africa and that we continue to seek his Wisdom in this journey.
