The Kingdom Of Christ Academy

Mission Statement: The Kingdom of Christ Academy is designed to empower youth throughout the world by providing educational opportunities built upon the foundational principles of the Bible and Jesus Christ. The Kingdom of Christ Academy believes that through education, biblical training & character development young people will have the opportunity to be the light that impacts lives, impacts communities, and impacts the world.

Kingdom Cares Academy
*Director Mark Agbo*:
20-50 Student / Athletes: Ages 9-15
(Eventually I would like to have 10 players per age group 9-15). The Goal is to have them attend schools in the United States by the age of 15-16 to pursue basketball and education. Most of these students will come to Iowa and be associated with Des Moines Christian, Pella Christian, Ankeny Christian, Grandview Park Baptist. While they are in the United States they will be playing with the Kingdom Cares Basketball Organization that I currently operate to help them receive college scholarships to play basketball and complete their education. Please understand that my goal for all of these young boys’ is to not just come to the United States and never return. My goal is that through basketball we can provide the opportunities and resources here in the United that can be used back in Ghana to impact other young lives.

*There are many options as we get started and we will continue to seek out the Lords’ guidance. On December 30th, 2009 – January 6th, 2010 my wife and I will be traveling to Ghana, Africa with the hope of securing land and to meet with the appropriate individuals within Ghana who can assist us in making this happen. Mark Agbo will be chief executive for this entire project and I will trust his vision and decisions in making this project a success. I understand that I have an incredible amount to learn about Ghana and its culture. I will follow Mark’s direction and suggestions within the country and cannot tell you how excited I am to be working with someone with as much knowledge and determination as Mark. The Kingdom Cares Staff and Jake and Janel Sullivan are committed to the country of Ghana and feel as though God has called us to help the children of Africa learn about Christ through education and basketball. Jake and Janel Sullivan and the Kingdom Cares organization will continue to follow the Lord’s path and guidance and will see this project to completion and hopefully create a model that can be used not just in Ghana but throughout Africa.
